Barricade 03:23
Don’t be a kid At some point you’ll have to choose your side Carve it in that barricade we pass every night Say you’re doing fine Sing it out in a rush, just keep it up with the trees Tried to write me out 17 hours and then the ink starts to bleed Dillon’s got a brand new car But he’s driving home alone Danny plays with tarot cards But there’s something that they’ll never show Woah This town needs more people like us People who scream whenever their hearts start fading out Are you checking in or cashing out On what you left behind I left town on your terms so we will start again with mine Tonight i’ll take the time To head out on my own Find a little patch beneath the sky I’ll Call Home Just don’t leave It’s everything Dillon’s got a brand new car But he’s driving home alone Danny plays with tarot cards But there’s something that they’ll never show Woah This town needs more people like us People who scream whenever their hearts start fading out You were fading out You were fading out You were fading

East Coast 03:35
Where you are, are there stars in the sky Do you look the same in city light Are there people in your mail asking for time Or just lists of bills that you fell behind This much I know No matter what you say No matter who's to blame The pressure's here to stay I'm not moving to the east coast I'm not moving to the east coast I'm not moving to the east coast You can do that on your own I want that deposit back, For all the time we'll never spend Gearing up for life's fatal attack Well there's insurance on everything that ends, So I'm making a withdrawal This much I know No matter what you say No matter who's to blame The pressure's here to stay I'm not moving to the east coast I'm not moving to the east coast I'm not moving to the east coast You can do that on your own I'm not moving to the east coast I'm not moving to the east coast I'm not moving to the east coast You can do that on your own

Earwigs 03:50
Who let the earwigs in Didn’t you hear me say I’m afraid of them Cause they might crawl into my brain And make me slowly go insane Some might say it could be chemical Well the truth is stranger still These days I try not to listen to my brain It doesn’t really seem to work that great Look at them all rolling on the floor Trying to catch the light they’re racing for It’s like nobody told them they’re stuck inside And they’re gonna stay there for the rest of their lives Some might say it could be clinical Well the truth is stranger still These days I try not to listen to my brain It doesn’t really seem to work that great These days I swallow the pills with lemonade It doesn’t really seem to work that great Who let the earwigs in I feel all the tiny legs while the hair stands on my skin Someday I hope that we can kick them out For seventeen year substitutes
4.
Breezy 03:38
Decoy Stuck to town like a phone book Plastic bags To deploy One rainy day is not worth mentioning Toughen up Your skyline with scruff Hey kid When you gonna learn this happens to everyone But even crossed minds still think alike sometimes It’s alright You won’t mind the wind outside But if there was something worth saving You wouldn’t have let your hair grow And now that your stuck in the corner You’re looking for another window Is there something that you should be saying But you need a word you don’t know You write it down Let your stale air out Stop your spinning head and come back down Come back down Come back down Whoohoo Someday you will love your breezy days Whoohoo Someday you will love your breezy days But not today But not today But not today But not today But not today

Calico 03:39
You told a joke I laughed And fell asleep in the back of a cab God was watching over us If you believe in god and if not It was just a tourist It was just a tourist You tied me to a yellow wall And shot the breeze with the officer on call The contest protected you if you believe your score And if not I guess it's just your outcome Calico Don't burn alone Calico Don't burn alone I swallowed a kitchen knife and burned the clothes I was born to wear 21 was just another blue If you believe the pain And if not I guess it's just your color Calico Don't burn alone Calico Don't burn alone Calico Don't burn alone Calico Don't burn alone You told a joke I laughed And fell asleep in the back of a cab God was watching over us If you believe in god and I don't I guess it's just a driver

Sell me your mistake I wanna know How to handle it properly Send me a mixtape Explaining all the semicolons in philosophy We were a sweat lodge armed to the teeth So you can shoot me a hand sign if you wanna leave Hug it out for a mile or two And then you sneak out the window The second it’s through Do you realize That you’re not that bright I had an eye on you the entire time When the checks all bounce for merchandise Sell me your mistake I wanna know Where you’re hiding them anyway Toss me a keepsake Or something that’ll keep me warm on the freeway We were a chainsaw raking the leaves And we were building up muscle in empty alleys Slug it out for a minute or two And then they shot you a smile I guess it was through Do you realize That you’re not that bright I had an eye on you the entire time When the checks all bounce for merchandise Do you realize That you’re not that bright I had an eye on you the entire time When the old ideas got crucified

about

Call Home is the first full-length studio album by Blood Capsules.
Seeing as how this is also their first album as a six-piece band, Call Home contains new songs and re-imaginings of earlier material carefully crafting a familiar narrative of personal growth. The ten songs that make up the album deal with themes of loss, recovery, and finding stable ground after trauma.
